Qualifications

Visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular corrected to 20/20 for each eye.
Hearing loss must not exceed 25 decibels in measured ranges.
Submit to a drug test prior to appointment and random drug testing.
Complete 12 weeks of intensive training and 17 weeks of specialized training.
Responsibilities
Providing protection for The White House Complex and other key locations.
Traveling in support of missions for the President, Vice President, and foreign dignitaries.
Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities under Title 18.
