Job summary

Florida Department of Children and Families seeks an Operations & Mgmt Consultant II to lead protective investigations training across Circuits 2 and 14. This role supports the Family Safety Program, serves as a primary representative of the Department, and helps accelerate the delivery of direct services to clients in the NW Region.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of data collection and analysis.
• Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data to develop recommendations and improve practices.
• Organize data into logical format for reports and written materials.
• Conduct fact-finding research and apply rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Managing Protective Investigations training units in Circuits 2 and 14.
• Monitoring and ensuring accomplishment of programmatic and managerial goals for the units.
• Management and delivery of preservice training for all child protective investigators in Circuits 2 and 14.
• Coordinating and implementing corrective actions to improve service delivery.
• Overseeing and tracking certification process for all investigators and Supervisors in Circuits 2 and 14.
• Administering staff development assessments and securing needed in-service training.
