Job summary
Hitachi Energy Ltd. seeks a Protection & Automation Sales Leader to drive growth across the U.S. East region from Raleigh, NC. You will combine technical expertise with commercial strategy to position protection, automation, and substation solutions with utilities and industrial customers.
Lead pre-sales activities, deliver executive-level technical presentations, and build trusted relationships with utility stakeholders while traveling up to 50% to pursue major opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
- Advanced degree such as MBA, MSEE preferred.
- Minimum 7 years in the power systems industry.
- Experience selling protection and control solutions to utilities.
- Knowledge of substation automation, SCADA, RTUs, and utility comms.
Responsibilities
- Lead pre-sales activities to achieve growth targets.
- Identify and develop strategic sales opportunities.
- Promote substation automation and distribution automation solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations to executives, operations, and engineering teams.
- Build trusted relationships with utility customers and industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate across functions to support major customer initiatives.
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity.
- Support product evaluations and customer adoption programs.
