Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum seven (7) years of professional experience in the design and execution of microprocessor-based protection systems.
Minimum three (3) years of experience preparing protection relay setting calculations.
Demonstrated technical knowledge of electric power system protection principles and practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex technical and business information.

Responsibilities

Provide overall leadership and direction to the Protection Applications Department.
Advocate for Protection Applications staff with T&D and Burns & McDonnell leadership.
Maintain an accessible leadership presence and provide timely follow-up on needs.
Communicate department priorities and business context with transparency.
Drive a culture focused on safety and compliance and foster innovation.
