Job summary

Galindo Prosthodontics, a specialized dental practice in Peoria and Scottsdale, AZ, seeks an experienced Dental Assistant to join our Prosthodontic team. The role offers a competitive $25–$30 per hour, a four-day workweek (Mon–Thu), full-time with minimum 32 hours, health insurance options, PTO, and opportunities to work with advanced restorative and implant procedures.

You will support chairside during complex cases, manage rooms and instruments, and help maintain patient comfort and clinic

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred; more is valued.
• Experience in restorative, prosthodontics, or implant dentistry is a plus.
• Experience with digital impressions, intraoral scanning, and dental imaging is highly desirable.
• Arizona law requires appropriate dental radiography certification.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a warm, professional demeanor.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during restorative, cosmetic, and implant procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for efficient appointments.
• Take dental radiographs and assist with imaging and impressions.
• Assist with temporary restorations and other clinical procedures as directed by the doctor.
• Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident during visits.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Follow sterilization, infection control, and OSHA safety protocols.
• Maintain organized treatment rooms and assist with inventory and supply management.
• Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, and team members to ensure smooth workflow.
• Anticipate clinical needs and contribute to an organized, efficient environment.
