We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and detail‑oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at our Peoria location on a part‑time basis.

Duties & Responsibilities

Clinical Hygiene & Patient Care

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments, including periodontal evaluations, charting, and identification of oral health concerns.

• Provide thorough preventive and periodontal maintenance services, including scaling, polishing, and other hygiene procedures within the scope of practice.

• Deliver personalized care to patients with complex restorative work, dental implants, crowns, bridges, and implant‑supported prostheses.

• Obtain and review dental radiographs as needed, following established clinical and safety protocols.

• Administer fluoride treatments and other preventive therapies when indicated.

• Recognize changes in periodontal and peri‑implant health and communicate findings to the doctor.

• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation, including periodontal charting, treatment performed, and recommendations.

Patient Education & Communication

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and individualized home‑care recommendations.

• Provide guidance on maintaining dental implants, restorations, and prosthetic appliances.

• Explain clinical findings and recommended hygiene treatment in a clear, professional, and compassionate manner.

• Establish trusting, long‑term relationships with patients through attentive and personalized care.

• Ensure patient comfort throughout appointments while maintaining a positive and reassuring environment.

Clinical Teamwork & Office Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Dr. Galindo and the clinical team to provide coordinated, comprehensive patient care.

• Assist in identifying patients who may require additional periodontal or restorative evaluation.

• Maintain strict infection control, sterilization, and operatory disinfection standards.

• Ensure treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment are properly prepared and maintained.

• Support efficient appointment flow while allowing appropriate time for quality patient care.

• Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team‑oriented work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required:

• Current Registered Dental Hygienist license in the State of Arizona.

• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.

• Strong clinical knowledge of periodontal health, preventive dentistry, and periodontal maintenance.

• Excellent communication and patient education skills.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate clinical documentation.

• Professional, dependable, and patient‑focused approach.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the clinical team.

• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and infection control.

Preferred:

• Previous clinical experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist.

• Experience caring for patients with dental implants, extensive restorative dentistry, or implant‑supported prostheses.

• Familiarity with Open Dental practice management software.

• Experience with digital radiography and electronic periodontal charting.

• A strong interest in continuing education and professional development.

Schedule & Work Arrangement

• Position: Part‑time.

• Schedule: Monday through Thursday, with specific working days and hours to be discussed during the interview process.
