Qualifications

• Arizona Dental Assistant Certification is required.
• Arizona Dental Radiologic Safety Certificate (X-ray) is required.
• Arizona Coronal Polish Certificate is required.
• 1+ years chairside dental assisting in general dentistry preferred.
• Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented and team player with focus on patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting during exams and procedures (fillings, crowns, root canals, extractions, cosmetic treatments).
• Prepare patients, take histories, update charts, and deliver post-treatment instructions.
• Set up operatory, disinfect equipment, and follow infection control protocols.

Job Title: Dental Assistant (Full-Time)

Location: Glendale, AZ (Arrowhead Foothills Dentistry)

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 / hour + Monthly Team Performance Bonus Potential

Schedule: Full-Time | Mon-Wed 6:15 AM - 5:30 PM | Thurs 8:15 AM - 5:30 PM (Enjoy 3-day weekends every single week!)

Key Responsibilities

• Chairside Assisting: Assist doctors during exams, restorative procedures (fillings, crowns, root canals), extractions, and cosmetic treatments by passing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining a clear field of view.

• Patient Experience: Prepare patients for treatment, take medical/dental histories, update charts, and deliver pre/post-operative instructions with compassion and care.

• Operatory Prep & Sterilization: Set up treatment rooms, disinfect equipment, and follow OSHA, HIPAA, and strict infection control protocols.

• Diagnostic Imaging & Scans: Take clear dental X-rays and capture digital scans/impressions as needed.

• Supply Management: Maintain operatory stocking, organize instrument trays, and assist with clinical inventory.

Qualifications & Skills

• Required: Arizona Dental Assistant Certification

• Required: Arizona Dental Radiologic Safety Certificate (X-ray Certified)

• Required: Arizona Coronal Polish Certificate

• Preferred: 1+ years of chairside dental assisting experience in a general dentistry setting

• Mindset: Reliable, punctual for early morning starts, detail-oriented, and a true team player who values high patient satisfaction
