Job summary

Hanger Clinic in Olympia, WA seeks a Prosthetist and/or Orthotist clinician to deliver comprehensive orthotic and prosthetic care. The role involves evaluating patients, designing and fitting devices, and collaborating with physicians to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include ABC/BOC board certification or eligibility, a related degree, and a valid driver’s license. State licensure may be required. Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current ABC or BOC board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics, or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in prosthetics/orthotics or foreign equivalent, with ABC board-eligibility.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• State licensure may be required where applicable.
• May consider non-certified with 5+ years of experience under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate prosthetic/orthotic needs and recommend options.
• Examine and evaluate patient needs related to disease and functional loss.
• Design and fabricate prosthetic/orthotic devices and perform fittings.
• Provide patient instruction and follow-up care; document clinical notes.
• Meet with physicians and referral sources to review services and develop relationships.
