Job summary

Össur is seeking a manufacturing technician in Orlando to produce check sockets and laminated prosthetic sockets per production orders. You will follow established procedures, operate power tools, mix pigments, and test prosthetic devices for proper function and alignment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, reliability, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced setting. Competitive benefits and a collaborative culture are offered.

Under supervision of the Team Lead, produces check sockets and laminated definitive prosthetic sockets as indicated by production orders.

What You’ll Do
  • Fabricates prosthetic devices following established work instructions and quality standards
  • The technician must be good at operating machinery such as power tools and need a high level of hand-eye coordination.
  • Mixes pigments according to formula to duplicate what is requested from the customer.
  • Tests prostheses for freedom of movement, sealed valves, alignment of parts, and biomechanical stability, using plumb line and alignment fixtures.
  • Maintains and requests adequate supplies of fabrication materials and components.
  • Maintains and cleans the production area
  • Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are
  • Graduate of high school or GED
  • Self-motivated and dependable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well as a team member and leader.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks in an efficient manner.
  • Some experience in a manufacturing environment would be helpful.

The US base pay range for this full-time position is $19.50 - $23.00 + benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay rates. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
