Job summary

Össur is seeking an Area Manager to drive sales growth of prosthetic products within the assigned territory. You will present to prosthetists and other medical professionals, promoting product use and helping achieve sales targets.

You will travel frequently to client sites, conduct scheduled presentations, and collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager and leadership to develop competitive strategies. A life sciences or business background and 3+ years in medical sales are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years direct field sales in medical/healthcare products.
• Experience achieving quotas and field sales training.
• Proven ability to present to clinicians and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets for lower limb prosthetic products in territory.
• Conduct scheduled presentations to orthotic and prosthetic practitioners and other healthcare professionals.
• Utilize TSM to develop strategic growth solutions.
• Maintain knowledge to overcome objections and implement sales strategies.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clinical decision-makers to expand customer base.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Manager on competitive strategies.
• Lead corporate deals leveraging prosthetic line to maximize revenue.
• Coordinate with Sales Leadership and other departments to align resources.
• Maintain accurate reporting including expenses and Salesforce updates.
• Lead go-to-market trials and represent the company at industry events.
