Job summary

Hermeus is seeking a Propulsion Test Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience with high-performance propulsion systems. You will assist in designing, setting up, and operating test stands while collaborating with engineers and technicians to monitor data and troubleshoot issues.

The 16-week spring internship emphasizes learning foundational propulsion testing, safety practices, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Practical experience designing, building, and testing vehicles through internships, studies or projects.
• Must be currently enrolled in a STEM program at an accredited college or university (undergraduate student in your third or fourth year of study, or enrolled in a Master’s or Ph.D. program).
• Strong interest in propulsion systems and testing.
• Strong understanding of engineering first principles.
• Demonstrated ability to work within cross‑functional teams.
• Enthusiasm for aviation and Hermeus’s mission.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
