Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies is seeking a Propulsion Test Intern for Summer 2027 to help define test plans, build test rigs, and conduct propulsion testing. You will work cross-functionally to align test activities with project schedules and cost constraints.

Responsibilities include designing, building, and testing propulsion hardware, performing analyses, and developing test plans while collaborating with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Working toward a degree in aerospace, mechanical, or other applicable engineering discipline.
• A passion for testing, in fast-paced environments, with hands-on design/development.
• Ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and qualify tests and test equipment for propulsion systems.
• Perform component and system-level design, analysis, and trade studies for test equipment.
• Develop and execute component and system-level test plans.
• Collaborate with other teams to complete tasks.
