Job summary

Anduril Industries in the United States seeks a Propulsion Test Engineer to develop, build, and execute test campaigns for production propulsion systems and micro-turbojets. You will own the test setups and collaborate with propulsion development engineers to adapt to evolving engine designs.

You will serve as Test Director during live engine hot-fire runs, design instrumentation, and create Python-based test software on Linux, ensuring safety, data integrity, and high-fidelity testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 3+ years propulsion testing or engine test cell operations.
• Direct experience as Test Director during live engine runs.
• Hands-on with micro-turbojet engines and test racks.
• Proficient in Python test software and Linux.
• Familiar with CAN bus hardware interfaces and sensors.
• Eligible to obtain/maintain US security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Test Director during engine and micro-turbojet hot-fire runs and manage test stand operations.
• Design, build, and maintain propulsion test hardware and instrumentation.
• Write automated Python-based test software on Linux/Unix and control engine profiles.
• Implement CAN bus interfaces with ECUs and test stand controllers.
• Analyze telemetry and generate detailed test reports.
• Maintain safety, calibration, and turnaround improvements in test cells.
