Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering fields listed.
• 12+ years in propulsion manufacturing or related manufacturing discipline.
• Expertise in at least one propulsion type: turbines, ramjets, or solid motors.
• Experience evaluating designs for manufacturability and improvements.
• Experience qualifying propulsion suppliers and production readiness.
• U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as propulsion manufacturing engineering SME across AD&S programs.
• Evaluate designs for manufacturability and drive producibility improvements.
• Translate manufacturing constraints into actionable design feedback.
• Assist in supplier selection and qualification for propulsion hardware.
• Conduct supplier assessments and production readiness evaluations.
• Develop and maintain propulsion process requirements and standards.
• Support propulsion test campaigns from a manufacturing perspective.
• Build training materials and propagate propulsion knowledge within ME.
• Mentor junior engineers on propulsion manufacturing principles.
