Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Propulsion Test Engineer to develop and execute test campaigns for production-ready propulsion systems. You will own test setups, write Python software on Linux/Unix, and collaborate with propulsion developers to evolve test capabilities.

You will serve as Test Director during live engine tests, ensure safety and data integrity, and drive rapid root‑cause analysis to deliver high‑fidelity results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or related field.
• 3+ years propulsion testing, hardware‑in‑the‑loop, or engine test cell ops.
• Experience as Test Director or lead test engineer during live engine runs.
• Proficiency Python in Linux/Unix for test software.
• Active U.S. security clearance eligible.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Test Director during engine hot‑fire runs and manage test stand ops.
• Design, build, and maintain propulsion test hardware and racks.
• Write automated test software and data acquisition code in Python.
• Calibrate sensors, integrate CAN bus, and generate test reports.
• Perform RCCA on anomalies and ensure safe, repeatable tests.
