Job summary

Relativity Space in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Propulsion Technician on the front line of Aeon-R engine assembly and testing. You’ll support precision cleaning, hydrostatic proof testing, flow testing, and complete component and engine assembly with a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience working on engines, with emphasis on engine components.
• Familiarity with Gas Generator cycle engine concepts and nomenclature.
• Experience with high pressure fluid systems and testing (hydrostatic, pneumatic, flow).
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical system integration.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Strong technical and interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test Aeon-R engine components, sub-assemblies and engines.
• Support precision cleaning, hydrostatic proof testing, and flow testing activities.
• Assist in component and engine assembly and testing processes.
