Job summary

Voyager Technologies seeks a Technician for Voyager Lunar Systems to develop, manufacture, and test our VTVL flight vehicles, engines, and related tech. Onsite in Mojave, CA, reporting to the Technician Lead within Manufacturing, Integration, and Test in Pittsburgh.

Responsibilities include fabrication, test stand support, prototype assembly, and operating high-pressure/cryogenic test equipment, with emphasis on safety, quality, and rapid iteration in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with fuel systems, fittings, and fuel line manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
• Experience with wiring harness layout and manufacturing, including pinning and mil-spec connectors (MS-38999, Amphenol, etc.).
• Experience in a professional shop setting with focus on tool management, cleanliness, and FOD awareness.
• Experience with high pressure fluid and gas systems, hydraulics, and cryogenics.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and proficiency in geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Ability to help develop new procedures and processes.
• Ability and willingness to learn new fabrication techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing needs and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and assembly for mechanical, fluid, and electrical systems.
• Support mobile propulsion test stand development, maintenance, and repair.
• Fabricating and assembling prototype components and assemblies, and the required tooling.
• Perform testing operations on test equipment including high pressure and cryogenic systems.
• Assist facilities personnel in ensuring proper maintenance of facilities.
• Maintain organized, efficient, safe, and clean workshops.
• Maintain safety and quality standards.
