Job summary

GE Aerospace in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Military Maintenance and Sustainment Strategy Leader to join the next generation propulsion program. You will participate in cross-functional teams to align maintenance concepts with DoD customer needs and support data, information, and equipment development for testing and fielding. The role requires U.S.

citizenship, ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret/Top Secret clearance, and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years propulsion system maintenance, sustainment, or logistics experience.
• Familiarity with DoD Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Minimum of 8 years experience related to role responsibilities.
• Minimum of 6 years military/DoD industry experience.
• On-site work at Cincinnati, OH; travel up to 10%.
• Must be able to obtain U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Integrated Product Support (IPS) team activities.
• Be the primary technical contact with airframe integrator and DoD customers for maintenance concepts.
• Technical lead for Thrust Enhancement System Sustainment development.
• Author IPS/LCM/Life Cycle Sustainment/Facilities/Spare Parts/Depot plans.
• Establish and activate maintenance and sustainment capabilities at multiple levels.
• Participate in Reliability Centered Maintenance and Level of Repair Analysis.
• Forecast spare parts requirements and assist in management.
• Contribute to life cycle cost models and supportability studies.
• Collaborate with maintainability, reliability, safety, and human factors engineers.
• Interface with systems and design engineering to support sustainment capability development.
• Drive program milestones using FLIGHT DECK principles.
