The position requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and 4+ years’ design experience, with CAD (CREO) and PLM (Windchill) tools, and the ability to obtain a US secret security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 4+ years of design experience; graduate degree with 2+ years is preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of mechanical design experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and 3D models for solid propulsion components and systems.
• Create detailed drawings for manufacturing and support IPT engagements.
• Conduct trade studies and prepare component specifications and procedures.
• Collaborate with analysis, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to ensure design integrity.
• Prepare test plans and participate in technical reviews and risk reduction activities.
