Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 5+ years of related experience for Level 3 or 8+ years for Level 4
• Experience in finite element analysis (FEA) software
• Ability to present analytical results clearly in written and oral form
• US Citizenship required for Secret clearance
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analyses for solid rocket motor propulsion system design and verification
• Create mathematical models matching system physics using valid methods and material properties
• Support experiments and provide data for detailed analyses
• Interpret analytical results and recommend system improvements
• Prepare technical reports and deliver presentations to customers
