Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years of related experience (or Master’s with 3+ years)
• Experience in modeling with FEA software (ABAQUS, NASTRAN, ANSYS, FEMAP)
• Excellent written and oral presentation of analytical results; strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural analyses for solid rocket motor propulsion system design and verification.
• Create mathematical models with appropriate analysis methods and material properties.
• Assist design of experiments to provide data for analyses.
• Interpret analytical results and develop recommendations for system improvement.
• Prepare and present technical reports to internal and external customers.
• Support assessments of test hardware and data, including validation of analyses.
