Job summary
Stellantis is seeking an SDO Specialist to lead diagnostic strategy development for Propulsion System components, including engines, transmissions, and electrified powertrains. You will ensure traceability of diagnostics to source requirements and support certification activities.
The role requires strong knowledge of Functional Safety, FMEA/FTA, and experience with CAN networks and calibration tools. Collaboration with OBD and AECD teams is essential for CARB approvals and regulatory readiness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in Propulsion System development preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 and Functional Safety concepts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement diagnostic requirements for Propulsion System components and ensure CARB compliance.
- Develop Functional and Technical Safety concepts and architectures for ISO26262 compliance across components.
- Support AfterSales with inputs for DST/TSD creation/review for MAKE/BUY components.
- Review diagnostics for BUY components and ensure adherence to OBD checklist and DTC/MiL reviews.
- Create design changes for new/improved diagnostic strategies and support AECD input reviews for regulatory meetings.
