General Motors in Lockport, NY is seeking a Quality Engineer to act as the voice of the customer for propulsion systems, collaborating with the Chief Engineer and Program Manager to ensure segment leadership in J.D. Power, Warranty IPTV, and cost-reduction initiatives.

This onsite role spans propulsion across vehicle platform program quality leadership. Key responsibilities include issue identification, tracking, and resolution; leading launch and current production problem solving; supporting

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree with 2 years of equivalent manufacturing experience.
• 2+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the year.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and off shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Perform early issue identification, tracking and resolution to ensure segment leadership.
• Communicate quality issues clearly to Quality management.
• Develop, test, and create quality solutions for medium changes; perform defect analysis and verification.
• Lead launch and current production problem solving activities.
• Deploy quality work according to planned development timing.
• Capture critical status updates for Quality reviews with the product team.
• Facilitate Quality Review meetings and maintain presentation materials.
