Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Project Engineer for its Orange, VA location. You will coordinate propulsion program tasks with program management, implement design and analysis work, and support the program technical lead across ballistic, thermal, and structural analyses.

Responsibilities include preparing design requirements, reviewing drawings, and traveling up to 25% as needed. A bachelor’s degree in engineering with several years of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 4+ years of engineering experience; graduate degree preferred.
• Experience with propulsion programs and cross-functional coordination is desired.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate propulsion program tasks with program management and technical leads.
• Oversee design, analysis, post-test examination, and reporting activities.
• Lead RCCA processes and ensure engineering drawings are reviewed and approved.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
