Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an experienced Specialist, Project and Component Engineer in Canoga Park, CA. You will support multiple phases of pressurant and propulsion components and collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure successful component completion.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience; a Graduate degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of engineering experience; graduate degree acceptable for fewer years.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T symbology.
• Experience with CAD tools CREO and PLM systems Windchill is a plus.
• Defense industry experience and security clearance are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Determine approaches to objectives applying engineering principles.
• Support production and fabrication of rocket engine components.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams on schedule, cost, and technical solutions.
• Analyze design performance and investigate anomalies.
• Author specifications, trade studies, and test plans with SMEs.
