Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Canoga Park, CA is seeking a Sr. Specialist, Project Engineering – Propulsion Systems to lead CAM activities, manage EVMS, IMS, and cost/schedule for propulsion programs.

You will collaborate with IPT leads and customer contacts and may travel up to 10%. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of related experience (or a graduate degree with 4+ years) and have propulsion systems experience, government customers, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience; or graduate degree with 4+ years.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
• Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and CAM duties.

Responsibilities

• Driving project action to achieve operational and financial objectives for an existing program.
• Managing cost, schedule, and technical performance for designated project areas while coordinating with varied groups and working with a program lead or manager to achieve results.
• Working with customer contacts for project activities
• Participating in sessions with customers for assigned aspects of project execution.
• Assisting in coordinating program support, production, and supply chain teams to ensure on time and on budget efforts.
