Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Project and Component Engineer in Canoga Park, CA to support multiple phases of pressurant and propellant components for defense programs and advanced propulsion systems. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain to ensure successful component completion and on-time delivery.

A Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with 4+ years of experience is required, and the ability to obtain a US security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with 4+ years of related engineering experience; graduate degree with 2+ years also acceptable.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T symbols.
• Familiarity with CAD tools and PLM systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine approaches to objectives applying engineering principles.
• Support production and fabrication of rocket engine components.
• Coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines to refine specs and test plans.
• Travel up to 10% to suppliers and other sites.
