Job summary

Air Force Test Center at Edwards AFB, CA, is seeking a Full-Time Engine Management Specialist (Propulsion Production Controller NJ-1152-03) to join the 412th Maintenance Group, Propulsion Flight (412 MXS/MXMP).

The role requires experience with propulsion maintenance processes, data analysis from automated systems, and the ability to produce management reports. Travel may be required, and a security clearance is necessary.

Qualifications

• 1 year of exp. with IMDS or GO81 maintenance tracking systems.
• 2 years of aircraft engine mechanic experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Knowledge of propulsion systems maintenance processes and materials.
• Ability to gather data from automated systems and analyze trends.
• Ability to prepare informative reports using common software applications.
• Ability to plan and correlate production data for scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Utilize propulsion systems knowledge to perform maintenance planning.
• Develop plans/forecasts for engine modification projects and maintenance requirements.
• Use maintenance information systems to monitor engine/component removal and replacement.
• Publish weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules and reports.
• Monitor databases and records to ensure data accuracy.
• Gather accurate data from automated sources for reporting.
• Complete special projects involving propulsion and aircraft systems.
