Job summary

The Air Force Test Center at Edwards AFB seeks a Full-Time Aircraft/Pneudraulic Systems Mechanic to support the 412th Test Wing and related units. The role involves on-equipment maintenance for General Test & Test Support Aircraft, preparing aircraft for inspections and performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and modifications.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repair, overhaul of electrical, pneudraulic and mechanical systems, and assisting journeyman mechanics.

Qualifications

• Experience installing rigid aircraft fluid lines and proficiency with swaged tube-fitting methods.
• 2–4 years diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing turbofan engines.
• 2+ years of developmental and/or operational flight test experience.

Responsibilities

• Aircraft Airworthiness and Flight Line Maintenance.
• Inspection, Troubleshooting, and Testing of Prototype/Modified Aircraft.
• Technical Authority and Repair Approval Operational Checks, Technical Compliance, and Flight-Test Support.
