Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Propulsion Lab Engineer to lead development and optimization of electric propulsion manufacturing infrastructure. You will work across engineering disciplines to translate requirements into robust lab processes, implement controls, and maintain critical lab equipment.

The role requires hands-on leadership, collaboration with Design, Quality, Systems, and Test teams, and driving manufacturing excellence to support high-throughput production

Qualifications

• Experience planning and maintaining lab facilities for optimal efficiency.
• 2+ years of aerospace hardware assembly, integration, calibration, and test.
• Experience executing qualification test campaigns for aerospace or defense hardware.
• Experience with precision torque, measurement and inspection devices.
• Experience planning and maintaining lab facilities and resources.

Responsibilities

• Build or test development and production hardware per SOPs and drawings.
• Inspect and test hardware to validate functionality and conformance to specs.
• Navigate MES/SAP systems in support of production operations.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase yield and throughput.
• Mentor team members on rework techniques and lab safety.
