Job summary

Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Propulsion Intern to support Archimedes engine development for the Neutron launch vehicle. You will work with mentors and cross-functional teams to apply engineering concepts and deliver results.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral program in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with at least one semester remaining, a GPA of 3.0+, and 3+ months of applied engineering experience.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Astronautical, or Mechanical engineering with at least one semester remaining.
  • GPA of 3.0 or above and 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internships, labs, or projects).

Responsibilities

  • Apply engineering concepts to real challenges under mentorship.
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver subsystem, engine, and test-related results.
  • Attend regular check-ins and progress updates with mentors and supervisors.
