Job summary

Stellantis Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a BSW Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to base software for EE/core and powertrain control modules. You will perform requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and test-plan creation for EE/core and powertrain base software.

You will interact with controls, calibration, and systems engineers in a cross-functional environment. Experience with virtualization in the base software life cycle is valuable; familiarity with diagnostics or bootloaders

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related Engineering degree.
Minimum 2 years' experience.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to adapt to a changing environment with minimal effect on productivity.
Familiarity with industry standard process framework models (ASPICE, ISO 26262).

Responsibilities

Develop basic software components for EE/core and powertrain base software.
Perform software requirements analysis, design, coding, test plan creation and testing.
Create software design documents, C/C++/assembly code and test plans.
Review and inspect requirements; embrace virtualization methods in the base software development life cycle.
Collaborate with other departments/vendors in a cross-functional environment with controls, calibration, and systems engineers.
