Job summary

Stellantis is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to join a team delivering base software for EE/core and powertrain modules. You will analyze requirements, design, code and test using C/C++/assembly, and draft design documents and test plans.

The role involves virtualization, cross-functional collaboration, and reviews of requirements with other engineers and vendors. The candidate should have a BS in electrical or computer engineering and 5+ years of embedded software experience, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in embedded software development.
• Experience with embedded C/C++ software (hand-coding).
• Experience in programming/scripting languages and adherence to a defined software development process.
• Experience in Vector/ETAS/AUTOSAR Basic Software configuration of DEM/DCM modules.
• Experience in software verification/validation including white/black/gray box testing, and using data acquisition tools.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to adapt in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform software requirements analysis, design, coding, and test plan creation for EE/core and powertrain base software.
• Develop C/C++/assembly code and create software design documents and test plans.
• Conduct testing in base software development life cycle and embrace virtualization methods.
• Collaborate with controls, calibration and systems engineers; interact with other departments/vendors.
