Brunswick's Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac, WI invites engineering students to participate in an Engine and Vessel Calibration Internship. Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in a BS program with a major in Mechanical Engineering or similar, minimum second semester sophomore status with 48 completed credits.
  • Availability to work full-time (40 or more hours per week) through the full term.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude (engine knowledge is a plus) and creative ability; self-motivated; ability to work under general supervision.
  • Ability to convey technical concepts clearly in writing and speech, with concise communication.

Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers in development of base engine hardware and calibrations for power, emissions, fuel economy, and part throttle combustion stability.
  • Assist engineers with electrified propulsion calibration and system development.
  • Assist engineers with vessel control calibration and system development, supporting the product development cycle from concept to production.
