Job summary

Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in a BS program with a major in Mechanical Engineering or similar; sophomore status with 48 credits completed.
  • Availability to work full-time (40+ hours per week) through the full term.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to convey technical concepts clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and engaged learner.

Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers in development of base engine hardware and calibrations for power, emissions, fuel economy, and part throttle combustion stability
  • Assist engineers with electrified propulsion calibration and system development
  • Assist engineers with vessel control calibration and system development
  • Work in a team environment supporting all aspects of the product development cycle from concept to production
