Job summary

Friedman Williams in New York seeks a Marketing Manager for Pitches & Proposals to lead and coordinate high-profile RFPs and cross-practice pitches from concept to completion. You will partner with BD managers, partners, and fee earners to craft clear, compelling proposals and maintain a robust proposal process.

This role is pivotal to the firm’s US business development efforts and requires strong communication, project management, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience leading cross-border pitches and proposals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; high attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and creative thinking for complex issues.
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with partners and clients.
• Strong project management with multiple deadlines.
• Team player able to build relationships internally and with external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of global financial markets and markets the firm serves.
• Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage formal proposal responses from start to finish.
• Lead meetings, shape strategy and messaging, assign responsibilities, ensure on-time delivery.
• Coach pitch teams and follow up on outcomes.
• Continuously review, refine, and improve the firm''s proposal process.
• Develop competitive strategies, prepare and debrief interview teams.
• Draft and present reports on activity, win/loss themes.
• Support the U.S. business development team in pitch activity and best practices.
• Collaborate with the firm''s global pitch community to implement new programs and processes.
