Job summary

Victaulic, a leading piping solutions company in Charlotte, NC, seeks a strategic Proposals Lead to build a high-performing function within our Marketing department. Reporting to the Marketing Operations Manager, you will shape scalable proposal processes and foster a collaborative team environment to deliver compelling, on-brand proposals that win business.

You'll collaborate across Sales, Legal, and SMEs, write and edit content, manage a dynamic asset library, and establish KPIs to demonstrate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in proposal development or related marketing roles; leadership experience preferred.
• Proven success in establishing and optimizing proposal processes, content systems, and team workflows.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with persuasive storytelling and customer focus.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities with multiple priorities.
• Background in B2B marketing, sales enablement, or RFP-heavy industries is a plus.
• Experience with marketing collaboration tools and proposal management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build the proposals function from the ground up—designing workflows, governance, content systems, and team structure.
• Create scalable, efficient proposal processes that reflect brand messaging and urgency.
• Lead end-to-end development of on-brand, customer-centric proposals designed to win business.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Ops, Legal, and SMEs to reflect messaging and value.
• Write, edit, and refine proposal content for clarity and consistency with the brand.
• Maintain a dynamic content library with reusable elements, visuals, and case studies.
• Establish and track KPIs (response times, content utilization) to measure impact.
• Champion proposals as a strategic marketing asset aligned with brand, sales, and marketing.
