Job summary

BCRA is seeking a highly organized Proposal Specialist in Tacoma, WA, to own complex pursuits and develop compelling pursuit materials that drive growth. You will balance strategy, collaboration, and precision while managing multiple deadlines.

You will coordinate content, schedules, and teams across disciplines to produce high-quality proposals and marketing materials, with a focus on differentiators and win themes. The role offers a hybrid schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of AEC proposal development and public procurement.
• Strong editing and proofreading skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to prioritize deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration and initiative.
• Deltek Vantagepoint experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all phases of proposal and qualification development, including content collection, document assembly, review coordination, production, and submission.
• Manage proposal schedules, contributor assignments, and deadlines to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with Market Leads, Project Managers, technical staff, and subconsultants to develop proposal content and pursuit materials.
• Edit, proofread, and format proposals, presentations, qualifications packages, and related marketing materials.
• Contribute to proposal processes, differentiators, win themes, and messaging in collaboration with pursuit teams and Proposal Leads.
• Independently manage multiple concurrent pursuits while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and compliance with submission requirements.
• Coordinate interview preparation efforts, including presentation development, logistics, scheduling, and supporting materials.
• Support maintenance of firm’s proposal library, marketing database, and pursuit tracking systems.
• Support award submissions, teaming requests, and business development initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and relevant information within marketing systems.
