Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Proposal Consultant to lead estimation, proposal development, and approval processes for Process Solutions. You will translate customer scope into structured proposals, collaborating with delivery teams to validate technical and commercial details.

You will leverage knowledge of Rockwell's solutions and work with stakeholders to ensure content, estimates, and costing align with project scope and business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas.
• Ability to travel up to 10% to customer sites in the United States for proposal-related duties.

Responsibilities

• Develop estimates and proposals for Process Solutions using Rockwell developed tools for tracking and compliance.
• Assess and prioritize opportunities, contribute to Win Strategy activities, and support customer proposals with clear articulation of value.
• Negotiate internally and externally using cost, value, and margin analysis; approve pricing and commercial terms within delegated authority.
• Follow corporate, government, and regulatory requirements; conduct risk reviews and manage proposal follow-up with sales and customers.
• Maintain proposal tools and systems to improve data quality, forecasting, and opportunity management.
• Coordinate with Proposal Consultants, Application Consultants, Sales/Distributors, Channel Partners, RA Business Units, and Contracts & Negotiations teams.
