Job summary

Vaughn Construction in Houston, TX is seeking a Marketing Proposals Specialist to lead responses to RFPs and RFQs and to support public relations and social media initiatives.

You will coordinate proposal materials, prepare presentations, coach the project team for interviews, and maintain collateral in the company database. A B.S. in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or related field plus 1–3 years of professional marketing/communications experience (AEC preferred) are desired.

Qualifications

• Desktop publishing experience with InDesign and Photoshop.
• Strong presentation design skills and software expertise.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Detail-oriented with proofreading skills.
• AEC industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead responses to RFPs and RFQs.
• Quality control reviews of marketing responses.
• Prepare short-list interview materials and coach team for interviews.
• Lead publicity efforts for awarded projects.
• Maintain marketing collateral in company database and electronic files.
• Assist with public relations and social media initiatives.
• Maintain understanding of Vaughn’s portfolio and capabilities.
• Other duties as assigned.
