Based remote in the United States, you will partner with technical experts and cross-functional teams to deliver persuasive responses for government contracting opportunities, managing complex deadlines and governance.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of proposal development experience with U.S. government programs.
  • 10+ years of experience with Federal Government Acquisition, particularly with Department of Energy.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted proposal workflows valued.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire proposal process from RFP receipt to final submission.
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team and facilitate collaboration among contributors.
  • Develop clear, concise, and persuasive proposals that align with client needs.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Proposal Manager Energy to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.

This role will oversee end-to-end proposal development for energy-related pursuits, from RFP intake through final submission, with a strong emphasis on compliance, quality, and win-ready messaging. The position will partner closely with technical experts and multi-disciplinary contributors to shape persuasive responses that address client needs and support competitive government contracting efforts. Success in this role will depend on the ability to manage complex deadlines, coordinate moving parts across teams, and maintain disciplined proposal governance in a highly regulated environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $113,000 – $188,000 annually
