Job summary

RRP Consulting Engineers is seeking a motivated Proposal Coordinator to lead and support the creation of SOQs, RFQs, RFPs, and related business development materials across Texas. You will work with engineers, PMs, and leadership to deliver compliant, visually compelling proposals within tight deadlines.

The ideal candidate writes clearly, edits rigorously, and coordinates multiple pursuits, ensuring quality and on-time submissions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Business, or related field.
• 3–7 years of proposal coordination, marketing, or business development experience.
• AEC industry experience preferred.
• Experience in preparing RFQs, SOQs, and RFP responses for public-sector clients.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with Adobe InDesign; Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat preferred.
• CRM experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple pursuit deadlines.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate full proposal lifecycle from opportunity identification through submission.
• Develop proposal schedules, assignments, and deadlines.
• Manage RFQ, RFP, and SOQ responses for public agencies (TxDOT, cities, counties, toll authorities).
• Collaborate with technical staff to gather project information and resumes.
• Review solicitation requirements for compliance.
• Develop outlines, matrices, and submission checklists.
• Edit and format proposal content for clarity and readability.
• Coordinate red-team and quality reviews.
• Assemble and submit final electronic and hard-copy packages.
• Support interview preparation and presentation development for shortlisted pursuits.
• Develop and maintain project descriptions, resumes, and marketing collateral.
• Coordinate with graphic designers for visuals.
• Support website updates and award submissions.
• Maintain CRM and track opportunities.
