Job summary

5W Public Relations LLC. in Tampa is seeking a detail-oriented proposal and program strategist for a contract role with a path to full-time. You will translate team thinking into polished proposals, timelines, and compelling decks for PR, digital, and omnichannel programs.

The role emphasizes writing, editing, and organizing client materials, collaborating across account and digital teams, and maintaining strict deadlines. Hybrid work in Tampa is required, with 3 in-office days weekly.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in public relations, creative strategy, marketing, or digital communications; exposure to agency new business or strategy teams is a plus.
• Strong writing, editing, and deck-building skills.
• Understanding of PR and digital tactics, including influencer marketing, social campaigns, and integrated brand strategy.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally and juggling multiple deadlines.
• Comfort with project management tools or practices (e.g., Slack, Monday, etc.)
• Proficiency in deck building, AI, and research platforms like Google Slides, Claude/ChatGPT, Resonate, Profound, etc.
• Highly organized, deadline-driven, and detail-obsessed.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and organize proposals, new business decks, case studies, and capabilities decks and PR and digital clients across a range of sectors.
• Collaborate with account and digital teams to bring proposals to life from outline to final format.
• Maintain ownership of timelines and project milestones during proposal development.
• Refine and rewrite copy to match client tone, business objectives, and pitch goals.
• Translate strategy and tactics into clear, compelling slides and supporting copy.
• Monitor proposal performance (win/loss), and help update proposal templates, capabilities decks, and case studies.
• Ensure digital asset drives are kept up-to-date and organized.
• Research relevant trends, competitors, or category benchmarks to support proposals when needed.
• Ensure proposals are buttoned-up, grammatically sound, visually organized, and on deadline.
