Global Engineering Talent LTD is seeking a Proposal Coordinator / Inside Sales Lead to help turn technical expertise into clear, persuasive proposals for major opportunities in manufacturing, oil and gas, and data centers.
You will coordinate RFPs, RFIs and qualifications, set bid schedules, and work with technical specialists and senior colleagues to develop content. This role offers exposure to leadership and the chance to shape the US expansion as the team grows.
Two years into its US journey, this engineering and construction management business has already delivered a $1 billion manufacturing facility in 18 months. Following two acquisitions, it is now building the team for its next stage of growth.
Backing that ambition is a global engineering group with more than 6,500 employees across 65 offices worldwide.
For someone looking to develop a career in proposals, bids or business development, this is an opportunity to join while the US business is still taking shape and make a visible contribution to its success.
Global Engineering Talent supported the initial US scale-up. We have now been retained again to help recruit the people who will drive its next chapter.
You will work closely with senior leaders, business development colleagues and technical specialists as the business pursues major opportunities across manufacturing, oil and gas and data centers.
The ambition includes competing for projects with capital values reaching into the billions. You will gain exposure to how these opportunities are qualified, how delivery teams are brought together and how compelling proposals are developed.
That exposure can build valuable foundations for a longer-term career in proposal management, bid leadership or business development. As the team expands, there is potential to take on broader responsibilities and grow with it. The direction will depend on your strengths, performance and the needs of the business.
You will help turn technical expertise and project experience into clear, persuasive submissions that demonstrate why clients should choose this team.
Your responsibilities will include:
You will have around three to five years of experience in proposal coordination, technical writing or inside sales support.
Experience within engineering, construction, architecture or a related technical business would be particularly valuable. You do not need to have worked on billion-dollar opportunities already, but you should be curious about complex projects and keen to learn how they are won.
You will need strong writing skills, attention to detail and the confidence to coordinate busy colleagues. You should be comfortable managing competing deadlines and using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
Familiarity with Creative Suite, CRM platforms or proposal management systems would also be useful.
Benefits are subject to eligibility, employee contributions and plan terms.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
