Job summary

Little Diversified Architectural Consulting seeks a Proposal Specialist to join our Marketing & Business Development Team in Charlotte, NC (open to other Little locations). You will lead storytelling, pursuit strategy, and collaboration to promote our brand and reputation through compelling proposal responses.

In this fast-paced role, you’ll manage document layout in InDesign, coordinate reviews, ensure quality, track production, and support BD with market research and CRM data management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism or demonstrated equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years related experience; experience in A/E/C industry preferred.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of firm leadership.
• Highly organized, dependable, detail oriented and thorough.
• Superior ability to prioritize and manage competing demands to meet deadlines.
• High level of proficiency in InDesign; graphic design experience preferred.
• Excellent editing / proofreading skills.
• Superior client service mentality; strong written and verbal communication skills; creative writing a definite plus.
• Willingness to work after hours and weekends as needed to meet deadlines.
• Strong business sense, leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Location: Open to any Little office location - Charlotte, NC, Charleston, SC, DC (Tysons Corner), Durham, NC, Newport Beach, CA or Orlando, FL

Collaborating closely with business development team colleagues and firmwide leadership, you’ll be focused on the development, production and delivery of high quality, competitive and compelling proposal responses. It’s a highly visible role in a fast-paced, challenging (and rewarding!) environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Document Layout/ Graphic Design (in InDesign)
• Production schedule and management, including coordination of internal reviews
• Proofing and overall quality control
• Final production / printing / delivery / delivery tracking
• Post-proposal debrief / follow up (internal and external)
• Documentation of findings (lessons learned, best practices, reasons for not making short list, trends, etc.)

Your Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism or demonstrated equivalent.

• Strong business sense, leadership, and communication skills.
