Job summary

Transportation Management & Design, Inc. (TMD) in Carlsbad, California, seeks a Proposal/Business Development Coordinator to manage bid and proposal development from opportunity identification through final submission.

You will work with TMD's President and staff to draft content, ensure compliance with RFP/RFQ/RFI requirements, and maintain schedules, resumes, and branding. Strong writing, editing, and layout skills are essential.

Qualifications

Experience coordinating proposals and BD efforts.
Proficiency in InDesign/InCopy and Acrobat.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Experience in transit or AEC industries preferred.

Responsibilities

Format and finalize proposals and client correspondence in Adobe InDesign.
Verify that every proposal meets RFP/RFQ/RFI submission requirements before delivery.
Draft and develop proposal content with technical and project management staff.
Identify new business development opportunities through RFP searches and teaming partner networks.
Build and manage pursuit schedules, set deadlines, and keep teams on track.
Lead weekly business development meetings with senior staff.
Maintain client, subcontractor, and industry contact database and BD/proposal calendar.
Serve as primary contact for teaming and information requests from partner firms.
Maintain staff resumes, project descriptions, and other proposal components in line with TMD brand standards.
Support content development for interviews, presentations, and special projects.
