Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando is seeking a Proposal Analyst to develop, plan, and schedule proposals in accordance with FAR/DFARS and USG requirements. You will lead cost, schedule, and technical elements for development proposals and support bid strategies.

You will coordinate data from functional teams, perform financial modeling, and participate in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer reps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivots, Power Query)
• Microsoft PowerPoint (presentation design)
• Microsoft Word (document formatting)
• Microsoft Teams/Outlook (collaboration & scheduling)

Responsibilities

• Develops, plans & schedules proposals in accordance with estimating policy, FAR & DFARS requirements.
• Acts as estimating lead on proposals compiling cost, schedule, & technical elements to development proposals per RFP specs.
• Coordinates collection of cost, scheduling, & performance elements from functional departments.
• Performs financial modeling & analyses incl. rate studies, cash flow, NPV & IRR; presents analyses to leaders.
• Participates in should-cost & pricing reviews with mgmt & customer reps; interacts with DCAA/other audit agencies.

System Requirements & other govt. regulations. Shapes, develops & matures bus. case analyses & cost methods resulting in a comprehensive bid/price strategy. Develops initiatives to increase profitability & cashflow. Acts as the estimating lead on proposals compiling cost, schedule, & technical elements to development proposals in accordance with Request For Proposal (RFP) specs. Coordinates the collection of cost, scheduling, & performance elements from functional departments. Performs financial modeling & analyses related to major proposals, including rate studies & analysis, bus. case development, cash flow analysis, NPV & IRR & presents analyses & recommendations to leaders. Researches & analyzes historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts & determination of accuracy of functional estimates. Participates in should-cost & pricing reviews with mngmt & customer reps. Participates as a member of the contract negotiating team & interacts with DCAA /other audit agencies. Initiates process improvements to enhance productivity & efficiency within pricing & estimating functions. May provide day-to-day direction & guidance to less senior Proposal Analysts. Develops, communicates, & implements Estimating & Pricing policies/procedures, & conducts monitoring & surveillance activities to ensure that the policies/procedures are being thoroughly & consistently implemented. Possesses comprehensive written & oral communications skills to support proposal development activities, executive proposal reviews, fact-finding & negotiations, & interaction with DCAA/other audit agencies.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $49500.00 - $91900.00

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
