Description

The Proposal Analyst will assist in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process. The Analyst will collaborate with the Proposal Team in the development and submission of high-quality proposals. The position is responsible for coordinating, writing, editing, and formatting responses to RFPs, and other client or broker inquires.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Write, edit, and format proposal responses to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with company standards and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Proposal Team in the end-to-end RFP process, ensuring timely completion and submission of high-quality proposals that align with company objectives and client requirements. This includes meeting the objectives and timelines set and ensuring effective communication and coordination throughout the proposal development process.
  • Partnering with the Proposal Team to gather relevant information and develop tailored, persuasive proposals with our cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product, and technical experts.
  • Complete proposal templates set up and insert boilerplate content to streamline the proposal process reducing the time and effort required to develop proposals.
  • With the guidance of the Senior Proposal Manager, the Coordinator will maintain and expand the RFP response database, ensuring that all content is up-to-date, accurate, and engaging. This includes identifying and filling gaps in the database, regularly reviewing and updating content, and ensuring consistency and accuracy across proposals.
  • Track deadlines and deliverables to ensure timely submission of all proposals and related documents.
  • Support post-submission activities, including providing additional documentation or clarifications as requested.
  • Support special projects as needed, including but not limited to marketing collateral and white papers to support the proposal and sales process.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field or equivalent work experience required.


EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • At least 1-3 years’ experience in proposal coordination, marketing, or communications required.
  • Experience in healthcare or insurance is a plus but not required.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Demonstrated soft skills, including the ability to effectively interact, communicate, and work well as a team member with internal partners at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Self-starting and highly motivated a must.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. RFP management software a plus but not required (e.g., RFPIO, InHub, Qvidian, Loopio, or similar).
