Job summary

Gallagher is seeking an experienced Property underwriter to support the growth and profitability of a Property portfolio across the Western United States. You will review, analyze, and underwrite new and renewal business within authority, while developing strong agency and broker relationships to drive retention and growth.

The role requires 3+ years in commercial Property underwriting, with preference for Middle Market and/or E&S experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
• 3+ years of commercial Property underwriting experience.
• Experience underwriting Middle Market and/or Excess & Surplus (E&S) Property business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support growth and profitability of a Property portfolio through underwriting, marketing, and relationship management.
• Review, analyze, and underwrite new and renewal business within authority and guidelines.
• Develop strong agency and broker relationships to drive retention and growth.
• Provide high level customer service to internal and external partners.
