Job summary

Agupdate is seeking a Maintenance Man / Property Technician to support a busy portfolio of commercial properties across Manatee and Sarasota Counties. This full-time role requires hands-on ability with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks at a basic level, plus a reliable vehicle and a toolbox.

You will perform preventative maintenance, handle tenant service requests, document work, and help coordinate vendor scheduling for larger jobs.

Qualifications

• At least three years of maintenance experience.
• Own vehicle or reliable transportation.
• A set of handyman tools for on-site work.
• Ability to perform basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on properties.
• Address tenant service requests in a timely manner.
• Conduct routine property inspections.
• Execute basic repairs to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Assist with painting, drywall repair, door/lock replacement, and exterior maintenance.
• Document completed work and communicate with property management staff.
• Help manage vendor scheduling for larger jobs.
